When standing for prolonged periods of time, don’t forget it is important to wear comfortable supportive shoes. If your back starts to hurt, take a small stool, and put one foot on the stool and rest it for a couple of minutes. After a couple of minutes, switch to your other foot and repeat. If your job entails you to prolong stand, request a shock-absorbent mat. Take a 1-2 minute stretch break every 20 minutes. I look forward to meeting you and helping you.
