How to Take Stress Off Your Back While Standing

Back stress

When standing for prolonged periods of time, don’t forget it is important to wear comfortable supportive shoes.  If your back starts to hurt, take a small stool, and put one foot on the stool and rest it for a couple of minutes.  After a couple of minutes, switch to your other foot and repeat.  If your job entails you to prolong stand, request a shock-absorbent mat. Take a 1-2 minute stretch break every 20 minutes. I look forward to meeting you and helping you. Please give us a call at (818)881-2225.  We are located in Tarzana, close to Reseda, Van Nuys, Woodland Hills, Sherman Oaks, Northridge, Encino, and West Hills.
